A decisive component in the quality assurance process is the creation of the test cases required and the corresponding test data. The aim is to achieve a high test coverage with the lowest possible number of test cases.
For this purpose, Díaz & Hilterscheid has developed the CaseMaker tool which effectively supports the automatic generation of test data for test cases created systematically by established techniques, such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision table testing, error guessing and pairwise testing.
CaseMaker particularly assists ISTQB® Certified Testers to practically apply the techniques they have learnt in their training courses, which contributes to an efficient and meaningful software test in their projects.
